Customising QR Code Colours

Make your QR codes match your brand by choosing a custom colour:

You can choose from preset colours or enter any custom hex colour code (e.g., #FF5500).

Tip: For best scanning results, ensure good contrast between your QR code colour and the background. Dark colours on white backgrounds work best.

Adding Logos to QR Codes PRO

Make your QR codes stand out by adding your company logo.

Logo Positions

Center Logo

Your logo appears in the centre of the QR code, replacing some of the pattern. The QR code remains scannable due to error correction.

  • Best for: Square logos, company icons
  • Recommended size: Keep logos simple and not too detailed

Corner Logo

Your logo appears in a corner of the QR code, outside the main pattern.

  • Best for: Rectangular logos, more detailed images
  • Advantage: Doesn't affect QR code scannability

Uploading Logos

  1. Go to Settings and scroll to QR Code Logos
  2. Click "Upload Logo"
  3. Select your image file (PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP)
  4. Choose the logo type (Center or Corner)

All your QR codes are saved in the QR Codes page for easy access.

  1. Click on the QR code to open the edit modal

  3. Confirm the deletion
Note: Deleting a QR code only removes it from your saved list. If you've already printed or shared the QR code image, it will still work as long as the destination URL is active.

Best Practices for QR Codes

1. Test Before Printing

Always scan your QR code with multiple phones before printing to ensure it works correctly.

2. Size Matters

For print, QR codes should be at least 2cm x 2cm (0.8in x 0.8in). Larger is better for scanning from a distance.

3. Maintain Contrast

Dark QR codes on light backgrounds scan best. Avoid low-contrast colour combinations.

4. Add Context

Include a call-to-action near your QR code, like "Scan for menu" or "Scan to visit website".

5. Use Short URLs

QR codes for shorter URLs are simpler and scan more reliably. Use EziLinks shortened URLs for best results.
